Why do we love Cotton Lawn fabric? It's a lightweight, finely woven cotton known for its smooth texture and soft feel.  It is often used for making blouses, dresses, and skirts. It is soft and flowy, yet with a subtle crispness that gives it just enough structure to hold shapes like collars or gentle gathers. Its breathable and comfortable...perfect for Pacific Northwest summers.  We are also including our cotton Indian Block prints in this challenge...just because they are beautiful too.

• August 9 & 23 - Connect with others in our Lovely Lawn Challenge during one of our "Sew-In's" at the shop. Bring your garment, have fun sewing! Robin or Ray will be on hand to help with any sewing questions.

August 30 - Celebrate at the Lawn Party 4-6pm

• Walk the "runway" to share your garment
• Enjoy tasty appetizers and beverage bubbles
• Be entered into a drawing to win fun prizes including a
  $100 Gift Card to Sew Inspired Fabrics

 How to Participate:

1) Sign up at the store or online for the Lovely Lawn Challenge

2) Buy your Lawn Cotton Fabric - you get 15% off!  We have 30 different Lawn Cottons to choose from.

3) Sew your garment (anything you can wear - shirt, dress, shorts, skirt, pants, hat, bag...get creative!).

4) (optional) Join one of our "Sew In" days at the shop on August 9 or 23

5) Attend the Lovely Lawn Party on August 30 from 4-6 pm

The Rules: Bali Batik Blitz - to qualify for any prizes, you must pay the entry fee for the Bali Batik Blitz, sew a garment that contains Bali Batik fabric purchased from Sew Inspired Fabrics (you may blend the batik with other fabrics too), and attend the Batik Soiree with your garment on June 14. Entry fees are non-refundable.
