Sewing For Charity 4TheChildren - Experienced Sewists FRI June 5 & 12, 11am-2pm

Put your sewing skills to good! Sew Inspired Fabrics is partnering with 4TheChildren to give you the opportunity to sew a dress for a vulnerable child. 4TheChildren is a Whatcom County 501 C3 nonprofit that provides hand-made dresses from donated fabric for vulnerable children to help prevent child trafficking. We have made and sent over 700 dresses, to Tanzania, Mexico, Canada and the US. A child that looks cared for is less likely to be taken. We are grateful for your time and willingness to give. Sew this dress and make a difference.
Provided: a dress kit, notions, thread, sewing machine.
Cost: $20 donation (provides a t-shirt, leggings and shipping)
Instructor: Rosie Bryson-Chamley, 4TheChildren
Format: a lunch/snack break is not provided. Please bring a snack that will keep the dress and store as clean and tidy as possible.
